How it works
- Your image loads into the browser and its natural pixel dimensions become the starting width and height.
- If you choose an aspect-ratio preset, the tool computes a centered crop region matching that ratio before any resizing happens, so cropping and resizing happen in one pass.
- Entering a width recalculates the height to preserve the chosen ratio, then the (possibly cropped) image is redrawn onto a canvas sized to your target dimensions.
- The canvas is exported as a new PNG file, ready to download — nothing is uploaded to a server at any point.
