How it works

1. As you type, the text is encoded into the QR standard's error-correcting data format directly in your browser.
2. That data is mapped onto the grid of black-and-white squares a QR scanner expects, with enough redundancy built in that the code still scans even if part of it is damaged or obscured.
3. The grid is drawn to a canvas at the resolution you choose and turned into a downloadable PNG.
4. Everything regenerates instantly as you type or change the size — nothing is sent to a server in the process.
